  • emergency installation, lighting, batteries,
  • internal and external lighting,
  • IAS automation system,
  • navigation system,
  • fire-fighting, PA, GA,
  • traffic and sound signalling,
  • intercom Internet and telecommunications network,
  • ramp hydraulic system, anchor windlass,
  • water fog system.

Details of implementation

The passenger and car ferry “PIRET” was built at the order of the Estonian shipowner at Remontowa Shipbuilding S.A. shipyard CONSTEEL performed a series of electrical and connection works during the whole ferry construction period. The shipyard construction number B616/2 is the second of a pair of ordered, modern, double-sided passenger-car ferries built for the Estonian shipper TS Laevad OÜ (a daughter company of the Port of Tallinn). The vessels are intended for servicing ferry lines from the mainland to the Estonian islands of Saaremaa and Hiiumaa.
